Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Khemu are the proud parents of a baby girl today!

Soha Ali Khan and Kumal Khemu welcome their baby girl on the auspicious day  of Navami- the 9th day of Navratri festival. The young couple turns parents today on Friday,when entire country is under the wave of festivity. Excited father  Kunal Khemu turn to his social handle and announced with this tweet:

“We are over the moon to share that we have been blessed with a beautiful baby girl on this auspicious day. Thank you for the love and blessings.”

Long time couple Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Khemu got married in 2015 and this is their first child together. Many from film fraternity  have shared congratulatory messages for the new member of the family and some have also requested Soha and Kunal to choose one of Maa Durga’s many names for their baby girl.

Bollywood couch has witnessed Soha Ali Khan’s baby shower in August, arranged by Soha Ali Khan’s family and friends . Kareena Kapoor, who is married to Soha’s brother Saif Ali Khan, featured in several pictures from the ceremony.

Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Khemu got engaged in Paris in July 2014 where Kunal proposed his lady love with a ring. The duo had a registered marriage in January 2015. While announcing the news of them expecting their first child, Kunal earlier said, “Soha and I are very happy to announce a joint production coming later this year — our first child! We feel blessed and thank you all for your good wishes.”

The couple enjoyed their  9-year-long relationship with each other before they got married in 2015. Soha once spoke to a publication , “Kunal and I have been together for nine years now. We feel very blessed and we’re ready for this phase in our life. But I have not felt alone at all. I have my family, and Kunal’s family with me. Kunal has been a wonderful partner throughout, and this phase can be overwhelming for the mother-to-be and the father. He has taken care of me very well.”

Kunal Khemu is awaiting the release of Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal Again.
