Aalisha Panwar at MahaKumbh: “Sharing this experience with my parents made it even more beautiful” Featured Funtainment by Akanksha - February 25, 2025February 25, 20250 Television actress Aalisha Panwar, known for her roles in Ishq Mein Marjawan, Teri Meri Ikk Jindri, and Nath: Krishna aur Gauri ki Kahani, took a break to embark on a spiritual journey to the MahaKumbh Mela in Prayagraj. Accompanied by her parents, took a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam, and witnessed the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti. Speaking about her visit, Aalisha shared, “Being at the Mahakumbh with my parents was truly special. Seeing the devotion in their eyes, and experiencing this together made my heart full.” The Triveni Sangam, where the rivers Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati meet, holds immense spiritual significance. Aalisha described the moment as surreal. “When I stepped into the water, I felt a wave of purity and calmness. It was as if time had stopped, and for those few moments, everything felt perfect. It’s something I will carry in my heart forever.” The MahaKumbh Mela attracted millions of devotees. With such a crowd, concerns about safety always arise, especially after reports of stampedes or chaos on social media. However, Aalisha found her experience to be nothing but peaceful. “Honestly, seeing the news, we were a little worried about the rush. But when we got there, everything was so smooth, so well-managed. No panic, just millions of people connected by one belief, one hope. It was incredible to witness that kind of unity in faith,” she shared. Later in the evening, the family attended the divine Ganga Aarti. The sight of hundreds of devotees chanting left Aalisha deeply moved. “Standing there, It was overwhelming, yet so peaceful. I had tears in my eyes, but they weren’t from sadness. They were happy tears, the kind that come when you realize how small yet significant you are in this vast, divine plan.” As she turned to look at her parents, she saw the same awe in their eyes, the same quiet gratitude. This spiritual retreat was not just about seeking blessings but also about rekindling a bond that often gets lost in the fast pace of modern life. “In our busy lives, we get so caught up in ambitions, and everyday struggles that we forget to pause and truly see the people who matter the most. This journey reminded me of the love, strength, and warmth that my parents have given me unconditionally. We often assume they will always be there, but moments like these make you stop, hold their hands a little tighter, and just be present with them. Sharing this experience with them made it all the more beautiful, it wasn’t just about faith in God, but also about faith in the love that keeps us going,” she concludes.
