Classic and something like never before, actors Shriya Saran and Sharman Joshi’s upcoming movie Music School is a perfect treat for all the movie buffs. The film will see the debut of actor Ozu Barua who plays a pivotal role in this film. Releasing on the 12th of May has some peppy songs to dance on! We got in touch with Ozu who got candid about the film, his role, and more…

Speaking of his character, he says, “My character hasn’t been revealed much yet in the promo. All I can tell you is, it has something special to offer everyone. There’s a twist in the story that happens because of my character and it has a relatability factor.”

Shedding some light on his journey so far, Ozu tells us, “This is my debut film as an actor, I started my journey by assisting my father in his films. That taught me about movie making and what all goes to make a film. This experience helped me after I signed Music School.”

Talking about his experience working with an ensemble cast, he says, “It was an amazing experience to work with people who I have seen growing up. Shriya and Sharman were like my elder siblings who helped me a lot. Prakash Raj Sir is one of the most amazing actors, you can call him a perfectionist!! He has a very strong aura on the set. Being around all these wonderful people has taught me a lot. I heartily thank our director sir, Paparao Biyyala Ji for giving me this wonderful opportunity. And also thanking Illayaraja sir for creating such great music.”

Lastly, he concludes by sharing his excitement for the release, “I was very nervous on the first day, trying to figure out how would things turn up but eventually I got comfortable and it was a smooth ride. I have become confident throughout this journey of shooting, the post, and now promotions. I’m very excited to watch how it has turned up. My friends and family are super excited! I never thought I’d get to play such an important role. Have given my best, waiting to see people’s reaction.”
