Actor Rahul Raj Singh opens up on his struggle and life after the late actress Pratyusha Banerjee death case, talks about leaving alcohol and life post that! Featured Gossips by Akanksha - January 8, 20250 Actor Rahul Raj Singh has been recognised as one of the most talented and promising actors in the Indian entertainment industry. The actor’s journey started on a positive note and due to his hard work and talent, he was progressing quite well professionally. However, owing to the unfortunate controversy that surrounded him after the Pratyusha Banerjee case, his life unfortunately hit rock bottom. From handling public judgement to dealing with media trials and a lot more, Rahul has seen everything and all this has certainly transformed him into a completely different human being who’s more evolved from his past experiences. On being asked about what were the significant changes that he saw in himself after the case, Rahul shares,“Well, my whole life changed after that scenario. I lost out on work, people started isolating me and most importantly, I had to hear the brunt of the media trial even before anything was proven in court. Even my closest friends from the industry who knew very well that I was innocent didn’t come out to support me. I was completely sidelined and the same people who chilled and partied with me started avoiding me. I was signed for projects and then removed since people didn’t want to associate with someone controversial. I lost crores of money in the process. Those were the toughest days of my life. But my experiences made me a better and stronger human being. Because of my good karma, I was not jailed and got anticipatory bail. Today, the chargesheet is out and everyone now knows that in my last conversation with her, she was blaming her father and not me for being upset.”He further added,I left alcohol completely and worked towards a more disciplined life. In fact, I left alcohol this year. My daughter Shivanya is going to turn 2 years old and I didn’t want her to be influenced by me. So, I left alchohol completely. I personally connected myself with nature and animals more and they started giving me love and peace. To cut things short, the incident changed me completely for the better. I am looking forward to coming back stronger and harder than ever before in the work space.”Well, kudos to Rahul for putting out his honest perspective in front of one and all. Here’s wishing him good luck for his future going forward. Stay tuned for more updates.
