Ajay Devgan confirmes through his social media handles that his brother Anil Devgan passed away last night. He shared the picture of his brother and updated about his untimely demise.

Ajay Devgan has also mentioned that the family will not keep any prayer meet due to the coronavirus pandemic.
His tweet read, “I lost my brother Anil Devgan last night. His untimely demise has left our family heartbroken. ADFF & I will miss his presence dearly. Pray for his soul. Due to the pandemic, we will not have a personal prayer meet.”

Ajay’s brother Anil Devgan had directed Ajay’s films like ‘Raju Chacha’ and ‘Blackmail’. He was also the creative director in the film ‘Son of Sardaar’.

Anil died on Monday and the untimely demise left the entire Devgan family heartbroken.

Ajay’s father renown stunt director of Bollywood Veery Devgan left for his heavenly abode last year followed by his younger son Anil this year: its tough time for the family and Ahay’s fans are praying for the family to have more strength and peace. In the month of May Ajay took to his social media to pay tributes to his father’s first death anniversary. His message can be read as ” Dear Das, it’s a year since you left. However, I can feel you beside me- quiet, caring, protective; your presence is forever reassuring”

Ajay Devgan’s father Veeru has worked on many popular Hindi films that include Lal Baadshah, Ishq etc.

Ajay was last seen in Tanhaaji: The Unsung Warrior alongside his real-life wife Kajol earlier this year. He will be seen next in his upcoming film Bhuj where he will be sharing the screen with Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha and others. Bhuj is expected to release on popular OTT platform Hotstar very soon
