“The past few months have been incredibly overwhelming for me. My movie ‘Band Of Maharajas’ is in contention for Oscars 2025 and it truly can’t get bigger for an artiste. As an actress, I have always believed that I can play literally any role and character that’s been given to me. However, the fact that my director Girish sir could see through his lens and see me in my avatar and have that kind of faith on me just goes to show his brilliance and visionary power as a director. It’s a team work and I am so happy to have contributed to the success. It’s overall an incredible and humbling feeling to be the only Bollywood actress who’s movie is in contention for Oscars 2025.
