All you cricketers, experience goosebumps this Republic Day with a short film Inaam streaming on The Short Cuts Featured Funtainment by Akanksha - January 26, 20210 Inaam that talks about the cricketers based in Kashmir, who deviates from their talent without knowing the consequences they will face is out now on The Short Cuts YouTube channel. The film is an offering on the Republic Day 2021. The film is helmed by Shahnawaz Baqal aka Rufy Khan under his banner Rufy Khan Productions. He has also written the screenplay and the story. It is shot by Luxmi Chauhan at Ghatmola, Baramulla, J&K and stars Shahnawaz Baqal, Zakir Hussain, Zaid Bhat, AD Sharma, Sushil Kumar, Ashiq Mir, Zameer Sheikh, Nomon Khan, Manzoor Khosa and Ramesh Pataye. The first time actor, who plays an Indian Army officer lived the character so well that it will give you goosebumps. The film which has no dialogues is something you can’t miss out. Talking about the idea of Inaam, writer-director-producer Shahnawaz Baqal says, “I was planning to make a short film with some unique aspect in it, as it has become tough to get your film noticed on the web. Most importantly, if you making a project for your country, it becomes even more special.” Inaam was shot around the high tension area at Baramulla, which is close to LOC, he tells, “Since my film had no dialogues, I want to take it to the real locations. The experience of shooting at Baramulla was so good. It was isolated and beautiful. I was just worried about the unprovoked shelling across the border.” “The challenge was to make the boys act like professional actors as everyone in the cast faced the camera for the very first time but they did so well. I feel they are good listeners and quick learners,” he concludes. Karan Murarka of KARA Studios says, “I feel fortunate to born on India’s most historic day August 15th and I feel patriotic at heart. When I watched Inaam, I felt this is something that I should showcase on my channel.
