Anubha has always admired Imtiaz Ali’s work and wishes to collaborate with him, expressing her wish, she says, “I remember the time when I created a vision board and it had this picture of a film poster in which I’m there and it’s written’Directed by Imtiaz Ali’ and then one day I get a call to meet him for one of his projects but destiny had it’s way. I was not in the country at the moment and this opportunity slipped. But anyway, I believe in the divine timing. I feel he is the one who brings out depth in his characters in such a profound way. He has a very unique way of storytelling. I believe every actor desires to be part of a film that has the kind of emotional journey and connection that he creates for his characters. Imtiaz sir brings out the true essence of life and I really resonate with his thought process as much as I’ve seen him speak about in interviews and through his films. I hope one day I get the opportunity to explore that space as well under his vision.”
