After ruling the OTT platform for quite a long time, Anveshi Jain is all set for her Gujarati debut with director Mayu Kachhadiya’s upcoming project. Titled ‘G’, the movie will have Chirag Jani as the male lead, whereas Abhimanyu Singh will play the part of the villain.

Jain is being questioned for stepping into regional cinema at a point when she is doing fabulous on web platform. However, the Gandi Baat 2 fame actress is confident that the decision will give an opportunity to work on her skills. “Firstly, I believe that regional cinema will give me a chance to groom my acting abilities and thereafter show my versatility as an actor. Secondly, I sign a project only if the assigned character adds substance to the story and helps it progress. And I can assure you that my role in ‘G’ is everything I was looking for,” said Anveshi.

Produced by Mahendra H Patel under the banner ‘Ashadeep Cine Production’, ‘G’ will mark the Gujarati debut of Chirag Jani as well. Adithya Singh is finalised as the creative head of the movie, while Ravi K Yadav will be seen handling the camera.

Shooting for the project started from April 4, 2019, and the first schedule will last for 30 days.
