Bollywood’s “Sanju Baba” admitted to Lilavati Hospital for breathlessness issue,tests negative for Covid-19 Featured News by Dhirasri Devi Choudhury - August 9, 2020August 9, 20200 Bollywood senior actor Sanjay Dutt famously known as ‘Sanju Baba’ among fans has been admitted to the Lilavati hospital, Mumbai. According to reports, he was complaining about breathlessness and breathing issues. the actor has tested negative for the novel Corona Virus. The reports stated that the actor’s samples were taken for RT PCR. Dutt is currently being kept under observation in the non-COVID ICU ward of the Lilavati hospital. In a statement to ANI, the hospital said, “Actor Sanjay Dutt was admitted to Lilavati hospital in Mumbai after he complained of breathlessness. His COVID-19 report is negative but he is still there for some time just for medical observation. He is perfectly fine.” Sanjay Dutt took to Twitter and informed his fans about his health condition, “Just wanted to assure everyone that I’m doing well. I’m currently under medical observation & my COVID-19 report is negative. With the help & care of the doctors, nurses & staff at Lilavati hospital, I should be home in a day or two. Thank you for your good wishes & blessings.” The actor may well be discharged from the hospital tomorrow if the doctors reviewing his condition feel that he is stable. The 61 years old actor is currently in Mumbai alone. His wife Maanayata and their two children, Iqra and Shahraan, are stuck in Dubai owing to the lockdown. On the professional front, Sanjay Dutt has a series of films lined up including Torbaaz, Sadak 2, Bhuj: The Pride Of India. He will also be seen in the much-awaited sequel to the blockbuster film KGF Chapter 2. We last saw him in ‘Panipat’ portraying the character of ‘Ahmad Shah Abdali’ in 2019.
