Godrej Locks Partners Actor and Reel Life Cop, Dayanand Shetty to unveil home safety initiative, ‘Live Safe, Live Free’ ~

Mumbai, 15th November 2022: Dayanand Shetty a.k.a. ‘Senior Inspector Daya’ from the longest-running police drama ‘CID’, spoke about the importance of home safety awareness at an event held on the occasion of Home Safety Day by Godrej Locks.

The ‘Reel-life Cop’, Daya joked about how he is known for breaking doors on TV, but wouldn’t have been able to do today with Godrej lock, hinting at the 125 years old brand legacy. Dayanand also told the audience a real story of a home fitted with a sub-standard door lock that easily fell apart with a slight nudge, and hence, stressed the fact it’s a homeowner’s responsibility to ensure the quality door locks and safety products are installed at homes.
