Director Shadab Khan’s Rabia and Olivia receives official nomination at the prestigious Toronto Lift-Off Film festival 2020 Featured News by Akanksha - July 21, 20200 Produced under Canadian banner Synchron Entertainment Ltd and directed by Critically acclaimed writer-director Shadab Khan of BA Pass 2 fame is all set with his next directorial Rabia and Olivia, is an Indo Canadian film which has been nominated in Toronto Lift-Off Film Festival 2020 to be held in August 2020. The film features Sheebha Chaddha, Nayab Khan, Helena Prinzen Klague, Shadab Khan and Afroz Khan in the lead roles. The film is a soul-stirring story of an illegal immigrant Rabia, who migrates to Canada and a nine-year-old mentally stressed Canadian child Olivia, who lost her mother while fighting cancer. The two comes solace for each other until Rabia loses Olivia under certain circumstances and then begins the search of her amidst dramatic twists and turns. Shadab Khan, who kickstarted his journey as a supermodel, started his career as writer-director with his directorial debut BA pass 2. His next film Rabia and Olivia is shot mostly in Canada and few parts of India under the Canadian banner Synchron Entertainment Ltd. owned by Yousef Sheikh. The film has already won in 13 International awards among which Los Angeles Film Awards, Depth of Field, Dumbo Film Awards, Florence Film Awards, Indo Global Awards and others to name a few. Shadab along with the entire team is really overwhelmed with the kind of response film has been receiving worldwide.
