Here’s How Isha Koppikar Spent This Ganesh Chaturthi as an Eco-friendly One Featured Funtainment by Akanksha - September 4, 20220 After two years of celebrating the festival at home or on a much smaller scale, the preparations for this Year’s Ganpati Festival are on the rise and how! But the important thing to keep in mind is not harming the environment in our celebrations. Isha Koppikar, a renowned actress and Politician has shared how she managed to celebrate along with minimizing the effects of festivals on our mother earth. “I avoid using decorations made of plastic and use fresh flowers, leaves and diyas to decorate the pandals for the Ganesh festival. We can also make rangolis and add natural beauty to the Ganpati celebrations. Replacing the idea of sewing store-bought plastic bandhanwars with the ones made of flowers, clay, thread, clothes, making the idol with paper etc really makes a difference in the plastic waste at the end of the season. I think just a little thoughtfulness on our part can go a long way in helping the world. ” Well, these are some really great ideas by Isha and if everyone follows such protocols the environment will improve in extended measures.
