Prestigious Award show IIFA (International Indian Film Academy Awards) is held in NewYork on 15th of July.The 18th edition of the International Indian Film Academy Awards was held in New York on July 15. Bollywood celebrities like Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Shahid Kapoor along with his wife Mira Rajput, Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha and Varun Dhawan attended the grand event to celebrate the success of movies from last year.
The extravaganza is being hosted by none other than the flamboyant Karan Johar and the Nawab of Bollywood, Saif Ali Khan, and joining them for a segment is talented Varun Dhawan.
The 18th edition of IIFA is graced by spectacular performances by Salman Khan, Alia Bhatt, Varun and others. However, ‘Raabta’ co-stars Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon have shown up a couple performance.
Sonam Kapoor’s film Neerja won the best film award. Actor Shahid Kapoor earned the Best Actor award for his role in Udta Punjab, while Alia Bhatt won the Best Actor (Female) award for the same film.
