I never knew how much I was going to enjoy the rush and excitement of performing,” he recalls. This passion led him to immerse himself in theatre for four years while also refining his craft at the prestigious Toronto Film School.

Known for his affinity towards complex characters, Kapil is particularly drawn to protagonists who tread the fine line between light and dark. “I enjoy portraying characters with a mild touch of a dark side — not outright antagonists, but those living in the grey. I find them the most layered and exciting to play.”

Now, with his feet firmly planted in Mumbai, Kapil is keen to work in Bollywood. His dedication to fitness, despite not being a gym enthusiast, speaks volumes about his commitment to the industry. “I haven’t missed a single day of working out in the last two years, except for my cheat day — Saturday,” he admits with a smile. “I know how crucial it is to maintain a healthy lifestyle, both for my personal well-being and the demands of this industry.”

Beyond acting, Kapil finds solace in creative pursuits like dancing, reading, painting, and playing the guitar. His love for travel and swimming adds to his multifaceted personality, making him a well-rounded artist ready for the spotlight. His strong connection with family and friends serves as his anchor, providing him with unwavering support and motivation to push forward in his career.

While Kapil remains humble about his talent, he ensures that hard work and perseverance are the driving forces behind his journey. “I personally can’t claim that I am a fully refined actor yet, but I work every single day to become one. Even when I’m not auditioning, I practise to improve my craft. My goal is not just to be a good actor, but a great entertainer. Audiences watch movies to immerse themselves in a different world, and I want to make sure I give them an experience that’s worth their time and money.”
