Miss India Universe Nehal Chudasama looks every bit royal in this Neeta Lulla creation

Ace designer Neeta Lulla is always a top choice for women who want to recreate something historical. So it comes as no surprise that Miss India Universe 2018 Nehal Chudasama chose her to design her National Costume, which is inspired by Rani Rudrama Devi. For those unaware, Rani Rudrama Devi is an Indian Warrior princess and the monarch of Kakatiya dynasty – a South Indian dynasty which was ruled by the North Indian Sultanate.

Nehal said that she chose to wear a National costume that paid a tribute to her as I was inspired by the tales of her strength and bravery. She added, “I relate to her fierce personality and her passion to help others is similar to mine; her quality of bringing a positive change in the society is something that I aspire to do.”

Her national costume features a matching throne inspired from the scenes of the movie Rudrama Devi.

Neeta Lulla has also designed costumes for the magnum opus Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. The movie is a biopic on Rani Lakshmibai which will release on 25th January 2019. Neeta Lulla is currently Designing Outfits for Ashutosh Gowariker’s next titled Panipat starring Arjun Kapoor , Sanjay Dutt and Kriti Sanon.
