Actress Rozlyn Khan has off-late been hailed by many for her bold and effective stance against actress Hina Khan. The very moment she found discrepancies in actress Hina Khan’s statements about her cancer treatment, she didn’t shy away from calling it out on social media and in the media. Despite multiple shoutouts by Rozlyn’s end to come clean on her cancer treatment details, both Hina Khan and Dr. Mandar Nadkarni, who’s also treated Rozlyn have been absolutely silent in the matter. On the other hand, Rozlyn has had to bear the brunt for her gutsy and courageous approach in the matter. From handling threat calls related to her own life and family to being expelled by event authorities due to undue involvement of Hina Khan and her team, she’s dealt with everything. Rozlyn, being a real-life stage 4 cancer survivor herself knows every minute details about cancer treatment and recovery process and that’s why, the moment she realized that Hina Khan is allegedly misguiding cancer patients all over the globe, she was quick on her feet to challenge her in public.

Recently, during a media conversation, Rozlyn Khan was asked about who from the industry does she relate the most in terms of cancer recovery to which she was all praises for Tahira Kashyap Khurana and Sonali Bendre. Rozlyn shares,

“To beat cancer is the bravest thing a human can do and that’s why, not just any other celebrity, any individual in this world who has beaten cancer successfully is a hero to me. I am myself my own hero for beating stage 4 cancer and I am my own inspiration just like so many other cancer survivors all over the world. However, if I particularly have to talk about people from the Indian entertainment industry, I will say Tahira Kashyap Khurana and Sonali Bendre. They are actual cancer survivors for me from the world of entertainment and not people like Hina Khan who use such a sensitive disease for the sake of publicity and pr. She is so insecure that she couldn’t even be fine with me being at the same event with her because she knows that if she and I have a 1-1 conversation in person, her lies would be exposed in front of the world in seconds. All she can do is use the disease for her own publicity and sympathy in the industry to get work. If she was anywhere close to the ‘sherni’ she pretends to be in real life, she wouldn’t have chickened out at the thought of me being present at the Nargis Dutt Foundation cancer event. So I don’t consider Hina Khan anywhere close to a brave cancer survivor. She is just a publicity-hungry liar who can stoop down to any level. For me, Tahira Kashyap Khurana and Sonali Bendre are the actual cancer survivors who have really braved everything to be where they are today after beating the disease.”
