“SAKSHAM-2025” held at ILS
Bhubaneswar: “SAKSHAM-2025” a fuel conservation awareness drive programme organized by Oil Industries under the aegis of MoPNG (Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas) Friday at Institute of Life Science premises to sensitize citizens about the need of fuel conservation for health and environmental protection, as well as to help India reduce its reliance on crude oil imports.Nature itself is invaluable and ecosystem services represent a priceless benefit to society. The tag line for Saksham 2025 is “ Cleaner Environment through green and clean energy”

The program started with the welcome address by S Lakshmana Perumal, GM Lubes, Odisha State Office, IOCL. After that Kamal Sheel CGM & State Head IOCL and State Level Co-ordinator Odisha highlighted on various awareness campaign which has been planned by oil industries during the next 15 days during Saksham 2025.

Dr Sangita Gosain, Associate professor of Odissi Music in Utkal University of Culture, Bhubaneswar & recipient of both Odisha Sangeet Natak Academy gave her key note address and emphasized the inculcation of conservation habits about the young generation.

Senior officials of Oil Industries such as HPCL, BPCL, GAIL & IOCL were also present during the program.
More than 140 students from various schools and colleges of Odisha participated in this mass awareness campaign along with the oil industries officials.
The Program ended with the vote of Thanks by Sri Nigamananda Mishra, DGM (Co-ordination), GAIL
