Punjabi stars Satinder Sartaj and Simi Chahal recently visited the national capital to promote their upcoming Punjabi film ‘Hoshiyar Singh (Apna Arastu)’. As part of the promotional event, both the actors visited Mata Sundari College here and praised the qualities of their film among the students. Actually, the plot of this film is a little different, as its story revolves around the education system of the country. In the film, Satinder Sartaj plays the role of a school teacher, who has taken up the task of working towards laying a strong foundation of education in schools.

In such a situation, it is not amiss to say that ‘Hoshiyar Singh (Apna Arastu)’ directed by Uday Pratap Singh can prove to be a milestone in the Punjabi film industry, as it has been successful in touching those important topics which have not been seen in any other Punjabi film till date.  However, the audience will also get to see a stellar cast of over 85 actors in this film, which includes some of the most renowned names of the Punjabi film industry – B.N. Sharma, Rana Ranbir, Seema Kaushal, Malkit Rauni, Rupinder Rupi, Sukhwinder Chahal, etc.

The film ‘Hoshiyar Singh (Apna Aristotle)’ promises to be a great entertainer. The audience will not stop enjoying the film for a moment as it will prove to be a complete cinematic experience for them. And, all this is possible due to the spectacular visuals, excellent acting, soulful music and of course the strong story of the film.

Satinder Sartaj says about the film that ‘This is a special film and a story that needed to be told.’ It is worth mentioning that Satinder Sartaj is also the producer of this film. He says, ‘This film is a complete package. It promises the audience a lot of entertainment with emotions, comedy, drama and love, which are important parts of the experience.’  Satinder believes that the entire team has given their best in the film, that is why its end result has been so great. Through this film, we have tried to give the audience a new perspective on something as important as the education system. In such a situation, it will also force the audience to question their beliefs and attitudes.

On the other hand, Simi Chahal says, ‘This film promises to entertain the audience to the fullest, but at the same time make them think. I believe that this film will entertain people of all ages, so the audience should enjoy it with their family. In this, the audience will experience a roller coaster ride of emotions as the film has humor, drama and love in equal amounts.’

Written by Jagdeep Waring, directed by Uday Pratap Singh and produced by visionary production house Omji Cine World and Sartaj Films, the film will be released in theaters on February 7, 2025.
