Sonakshi Sinha Becoming The First Actress To ‘Talk About Sex’ In ‘Khandaani Shafakhana’ Is ‘Pure Gold’ Featured by Akanksha - June 23, 20190 The breaker of all clutters, the new queen of Bollywood and the first of her name, Sonakshi Sinha; is here again to entertain us to our heart’s content with her upcoming film, Khandaani Shafakhana. With a title so interesting, the trailer of the film had to live up to its mark. It got released yesterday and became a rage in only a few hours. First, come first, here’s the trailer of the film, if you haven’t seen it yet! As you might’ve understood by now, the film, starring Sonakshi, Varun Sharma and Badshah in the lead; deals with the subject of Sex and the abnormities of it. This movie is yet again a very bold step taken by Sona and the team of Khandaani Shafakhana, as after Vicky Donor and Shubh Mangal Savdhan, this film deals with the similar subject but, in a very poised manner. That too, with a female lead! Also, this is not the first time that Sonakshi hasn’t shied away from taking such a risk. In the past, she has given life to the characters like Akira, which was again a solo-lead with a very different theme. In Ittefaq, she dared to play the villain. And, in massy films like Dabangg franchise and Lootera, Sonakshi played her parts beautifully. With Khandaani Shafakhana, our dear Sonakshi Sinha has pledged to fill you in with some sex education in a super-subtle way! Hence, this can be known as ‘The only sex film for the whole family!’ Apart from the fact that this is the first female-centric film dealing with the subject of sex, what interests us more is the unexpected combination of the main leads. While Sonakshi plays a docile middle-class Bedi girl who’s trying to manage his uncle’s old pharmacy; Varun Sharma is here once again to tickle our funny bones with his superb sense of humor as an innocent ‘Virgin’. Seeing Badshah for the first time on the silver screen in a pivotal character is nothing but a treat to our eyes! Well, we feel these are enough reasons to make our wait harder for 26th July. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Mahavir Jain, and Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and directed by Shilpi Dasgupta.
