A special screening of ‘Drustikona’ was held at Sandy’s tower for cine lovers, critics and journalists. Producers and directors are expecting a revolutionary stream from this movie by Akshay Parija Productions. The production house fosters hope of returning audiences to the theatres once more via their production masterpieces. Critics have praised all angles of this film and rated it a 5-star watch. The storyline, screenplay and direction persuaded critics to be pleasantly surprised by the performance of debutant Liza Nayak, Elina as a crime branch police officer, Hara Rath as an advocate and Hara Prasad Das’s role as a judge. Their brilliant acting has helped garner the film its stellar reviews.

‘Drustikona’ is based upon the existence of atrocities committed on women throughout history. A woman gets gang-raped by men under influence of liquor and hard drugs. To erase evidence, the victim and her fiancee are brutally murdered. When the matter reaches court, the character assassination of the victim starts. It is left to the wits and determination of a female police officer and an upright public prosecutor to bring justice to the family of the bereaved.

Is it bad fate to be born beautiful? Should a woman be harassed for her beauty? These are the key questions the movie explores.

Drustikona is going to be released on 27th May all over Odisha, informed PR Coordinator Pranay Jethi. This movie constitutes of cine producer Akshay Kumar Parija and well-known director Susant Mani. In lead roles, Elina Samantray, Shubhashree Nayak (Leeja Naik), Ankit Mohanty, Hara Rath, Choudhury Bikash Das and Hara Prasad Das are there.
