Bismil, aka, Mohd Asif, the Sufi singer, composer, and performer has yet again raised the bar in Sufi music & is coming to enthrall the audience with his melodious and soulful singing in the US for his first-ever Global Tour of ‘Bismil ki Mehfil’. This announcement has come in celebration of Eid as an Eidi gift to his audience and all the music lovers. The special tour is a ten-city massive tour across the US starting on 27th April in New York, followed by Houston, Dallas, New Jersey, Bay Area, Manhattan, Toronto, Raleigh, Washington, and ends in Atlanta on 14th May 2023. This first-ever Global ‘Bismil Ki Mehfil’ tour is organized by leading promoters & event management companies, JR Production INC by Priaa Haider from New York & Celebbazaar by Abhishek Singh based out of India, who came together to make the tour extraordinaire and promise to deliver one-of-a-kind experience to the audience.

There are tons of talented singers working across varied genres, but Bismil has decided to go to a different path and carve his own niche and is hell-bent on bringing back the Sufi, Qawallis, Folk Music and Ghazal scene among the youngsters through his singing and performance across the world. He and his team titled ‘Bismil Ki Mehfil’ will be seen crooning nostalgic and powerful renditions of some of his most popular songs and serenading audiences with a selection of all-time golden oldies and world-renowned Sufis & ghazals during the tour.

Talking about the tour, the renowned singer Bismil said, “This will be my first global tour in the US and US audiences have always been warm towards me. I’ll make sure to offer the audience a one-of-a-kind experience that will make them instantly groove to my live Sufi and Folk music performances. This is a great opportunity to bind people across the country through sufi & ghazal nights and I am looking forward to performing for them and taking Indian Music to Global Level.”

On being asked about the tour, the national promoter Priaa Haider said, “Bismil has been breaking the chain and promoting the magic of sufi through his music and it was my long-time plan to promote the same and entertain the masses through his voice. Bringing back the power and magic of shayaris, sufi music which is losing its value in this generation, is rare and I want to entertain and make people happy through this genre. I have always scouted for new talents and given them international platform to perform and showcase their talent some names being Neha Kakkar, Sonu Kakkar and Tony Kakkar ( 2017), YoYo Honey Singh ( 2013), Sara Ali Khan (2022), all young heartthrobs like Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Siddhart Malhotra, Parineeti Chopra, Katrina Kaif & Badshah for the ‘The Dream Tour’ (2016).”
