Taj Cement Organizes “The Honest Checkup” Camps in Mynkre Village

Staying true to its ethos of honesty and care, Taj Cement organized ‘The Honest Checkup’—a free health and eye check-up initiative— at the Community Hall, Mynkre Village, Meghalaya, on Saturday benefiting over 250 residents.

The health check-up camp focused on preventive healthcare, offering free health screenings and providing medicines for diagnosed conditions. Villagers were also sensitized about the importance of regular checkups and adopting preventive measures for a healthier lifestyle.

The eye check-up camp provided vision screenings, prescribed medicines, and spectacles for those requiring vision correction or eye protection, ensuring holistic support for the villagers.

Speaking about the initiative, Mr. Sanjeev Surekha, Group CFO at Taj Cement, said, “At Taj Cement, honesty is the core of everything we do. Mynkre Village, like many others, has supported our journey, and through The Honest Checkup, we strive to give back in a way that reflects our core values of honesty and care. By addressing their health and vision needs, we aim to contribute to their well-being and empower them for a better tomorrow.”

Taj Cement recognizes the invaluable role of local communities in shaping its success and remains deeply committed to their welfare. Initiatives like The Honest Checkup are part of the company’s broader vision to foster healthier and stronger societies across the region.

Through this initiative, the company reaffirms its belief that a healthy society is the cornerstone of progress. The Honest Checkup initiative is a testament to the brand’s dedication to building not just strong infrastructure but also lasting relationships with the people it serves.
