Tanuj Virwani is someone who wears his heart on his sleeve. While on one hand, he might come off as someone who’s very modern and fun-loving, in reality, he is a true patriot whose heart breathes and bleeds for the country all the time. Be it India’s victorious moments in any sporting activity or any monumental achievement when it comes to science and technology, Tanuj is one of the first proactive celebrities from the Indian entertainment industry to showcase his happiness and positive vibes and that’s what people love the most about him. Henceforth, for someone like him, Republic Day simply can’t be just another regular day. So, on this special day of pride and honour, what does Tanuj have in mind and how is he going to celebrate the day? Let’s hear it straight from the horse’s mouth. On being asked about his plans this Republic Day, Tanuj said and we quote,

“Well, first of all, I would like to put it out loud and clear that it’s important to feel patriotic towards your country 24/7 and 365 days, not just on certain days like Republic Day and Independence Day. The moment we all get this fact straight as Indians, our country will head towards progression like never before. Having said that, certain days do call for additional celebration because it’s about celebrating the legacy and efforts of certain greats due to whom we are breathing today in an Independent India. I have been raised in a family which takes these things very seriously and as top priority. As a family, we are all going to be a part of the flag hoisting ceremony in the morning at our apartment and I am going to be shouting ‘Jai Hind’ by maximising the usage of my lungs. After that, it’s going to be all about cricket. So every year, we organize this cricket tournament in the farmhouse on Republic Day and Independence Day and I am going to have a nice time playing thereafter. This will be followed by a special family meal together and that’s about it. I wish all my fellow countrymen a very Happy Republic Day and may we continue to get better and stronger as a nation and collective force together.”
