The story of film is our hero – Kangana Ranaut on Manikarnika Featured Interviews by Akshay Patil - December 17, 20180 Multiple National Award winning Versatile actress Kangana Ranaut is bringing forth the life and story of India’s first fierce and daring warrior queen Rani Laxmibai also known as Rani Laxmibai of Jhansi on the big screen. The film’s trailer will release tomorrow and the makers are all set to make sure that it’s a visual spectacle for the audiences. Kangana who’s playing the lead and titular character of Manikarnika in film says, “Manikarnika is the only film that has been made so quickly. Knowing that it’s a prop drama, we shot and wrapped 60% of the film in October. Almost 70% of the film’s work is in VFX. The kind of speed with which we all are working has been extraordinary and challenging but we are at it. We are really looking forward to showing the essence of Manikarnika’s life through glimpses of the film, and eventually the story of the film which is our hero”.
