The Story Of Gulshan Devaiah’s conflict of Jimmy Vs Mani In Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota! Featured by Akshay Patil - March 25, 20190 With Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota bagging praises from all around the country from critics to audience, the makers of the film released a BTS showcasing the grit and determination of Gulshan Devaiah behind the role. Gulshan Devaiah plays a double role in the film as Jimmy and Mani where Jimmy is the negative character and Mani is a champion of 100-man kumite, where a karate fighter has to beat 100 others to be declared the winner. In the BTS video, we get to see all the hard work and struggle put up by Gulshan for these characters. The co-actors and the crew quoted saying that Gulshan would be all silent on the sets when he will be playing Mani and when he will be playing Jimmy he will be all fun and talkative. Before the film, Gulshan Devaiah injured his right knee and was advised by his doctor to not strain himself. But he did his training with a crutch throughout for four months, exactly how the one-legged Karate Mani moves in the film and no one could figure it out seeing his action-packed performance in the film. The character Mani and Jimmy in the film are the twins where Mani is a handicapped Karate Master with one leg and also Surya’s role model whereas Jimmy is the mischievous amusing villain who keeps harassing Mani all the time. Gulshan quoted saying it was very difficult in the start to play two different characters of twins but later with his research and observations on real-life twins he mastered the role. The film stars Abhimanyu Dassani, Radhika Madan, Gulshan Devaiah, Mahesh Manjrekar in lead role. The film is receiving raving reviews from the audience and critics all around the country.
