Veteran Bollywood actors Jackie Shroff & Anil Kapoor continue to rule the hearts of Hindi film fans as they hint at working on a project together soon.

Veteran Bollywood actors Jackie Shroff and Anil Kapoor have defined brotherhood in Hindi films through their eponymous roles in the Subhash Ghai directed 1989 film ‘Ram Lakhan’.

Anil Kapoor and Jackie Shroff have co-starred in numerous hits of the eighties and the nineties, including Yudh, Karma, Parinda, Kala Bazaar and 1942: A Love Story. Their bond remains strong even today as evident through their social media banter on each other’s posts.

Recently, Anil Kapoor shared a video of himself running along a beach at Alibaug beach, but not to relax. As fitness comes first to him, he used the spot to workout. He will inspire young actors as well as young generations.

Sharing a video of him running on a beach, he posted on Instagram on Sunday. He wrote, “During the lockdown, I was dreaming about the beach…dreaming of escaping…finally I get to the beach and my trainer @marcyogimead, makes me sprint…fitness always comes first…It’s not about the location but about the dedication.”

Actor Jackie Shroff commented: “Bhidu Bhari.”

To which Anil Kapoor replied, “Get ready for our next together, team working on it.”

Reacting to Anil’s comment, Jackie Shroff wrote, “Eagerly waiting for my Lakhan.” This surely made the fans think that Ram Lakhan 2 is in the works.” Jackie Shroff praised him by saying ‘Bhidu bhari’ – a colloquial Bombaiyya (of Mumbai) phrase for saying ‘Friend, that’s great’.

On the professional front, Anil Kapoor will be seen next in the Netflix film ‘AK vs AK’ opposite ‘Gangs Of Wasseypur’ fame director Anurag Kashyap. He will also be next seen in Karan Johar’s multi-starrer ‘Takht’ also starring Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan and others.

On the other hand, Jackie Shroff was last seen in a cameo appearance in Ahmed Khan’s ‘Baaghi 3’ alongside his son Tiger Shroff. He has a lineup of films including Rohit Shetty’s ‘Sooryavanshi’, Salman Khan’s ‘Radhe’ and Sanjay Gupta directorial ‘Mumbai Saga’ among other regional films.
