The acclaimed Vijay Tendulkar teleplay starring Shreyas Talpade remains socially relevant till date

‘Typecast’, Zee Theatre’s riveting Hindi adaptation of Vijay Tendulkar’s Marathi play ‘Pahije Jatiche’ features Shreyas Talpade as Mahipat Babruvahan, the first Dalit from his village to complete his M.A. degree. The play delineates his many struggles as despite his education and brilliance, he faces prejudice within academia and in his life. How he fares in his new job as a professor and in his love life, makes for an engrossing watch.

Filmed by Sourabh Shrivastava, the play also features OTT stars Aaditi Pohankar, Atul Mathur and Utkarsh Mazumdar.
