When I do have a partner in the future, I’d prefer to keep my love life private rather than public: Indraxi Kanjilal

I’d prefer to keep my love life private rather than public Indraxi Kanjilal

Actress Indraxi Kanjilal who is currently working in Pushpa Impossible as Prathana, shares her valentine’s day plan with us.

She says, ”Since I don’t have a partner, Valentine’s Day doesn’t hold any special significance for me. Without a partner, it’s just a simple day. If I get a day off, I’d probably go for a movie with my mom and granny. However, when I do have a partner in the future, I’d prefer to keep my love life private rather than public. I’d love to go for a movie and have ice cream, but for now, my focus is on my career.”

In today’s fast-paced world of flings, situationships, and complex relationships, old-school love seems rare. Indraxi shares her point of views on how love has become more about showing off on social media these days. She adds, ”It’s a personal choice whether someone wants to showcase their relationship on social media. For me, unless I’m completely sure about the person, I would prefer to keep it private. Keeping things private makes me feel safe and allows me to cherish the relationship without external pressure. I also feel old-school love is definitely getting lost. These days, it’s more about showing off. I personally believe in old-school love and would love to experience it in my life, maybe after 5-6 years. Today, people are more focused on their phones rather than meaningful conversations. Many just do things for social media validation instead of genuine connection. For me, romance is in the little things—small thoughtful gestures mean more than grand displays.”

Indraxi feels a lot of grand gestures done today are more for social media than for the person they’re meant for. ”While grand gestures are beautiful, I find small, meaningful efforts more romantic. A heartfelt note, a surprise visit, or just being there when needed means more to me than a flashy display. I know I’m not really in a position to give love advice since I haven’t experienced a relationship myself. But if I had to say something, I’d tell people not to trust too easily. Take your time, spend quality moments together, and truly get to know the person before placing your trust in them. Love should be built on understanding and patience, not just emotions.”

At the end the beautiful actress also sumps up her views on love and says,”True love still exists, and I hope one day I get to experience that pure, magical love. It may be rare, but I believe that deep, meaningful connections are still possible for those who value love beyond the digital world.”
